Our website reviews books about issues that parents wish to raise with their children. While we will review manual-style didactic books, we are particularly interested in narrative picture books that engage with issues in creative ways and foster connection between parents and children. All our reviews are recommendations and for this reason we reserve the right not to review books that we feel do not reflect our desire to foster connection.

We are always looking to expand our current review pages (see here for a list of current topics). We are also interested in adding new review pages for additional topics. If we review a book for which we do not have a devoted review page, we will publish it as a blog post and add it to the relevant review page when we have sufficient reviews to justify a page on the topic.
